Pictured below is my 1977 KZ650 and my 1982 Honda CB 900F with CR carbs.

I HATE the 4 into 2 quiet stock exhaust on my 77 KZ650.
I want something loud, obnoxious in a 4 into 1 that doesnt require too much if ANY rejetting.

Any suggestions?

Also, I threw a set of CR carbs on my 82 Honda. Would I gain any advantage by buying CR carbs for my KZ as well?

Dont know but it looks like you've got your front mudguard on back to front on both bikes.

The mudguard / chain guard on the KZ has since been removed altogether. That photo was taken in September of 2017 when I first got the bike.

There is no mudguard on the 900F so I have no idea what you are referring to.

If you are talking about the front fender and part that juts out, thats meant flow air to the oil cooler adjacent to it.

Here is a better pic of the 900F

UK to US translation. UK mudguard = front and back. We don't use the US word fender. So yes I meant the CB front fender. To my eyes it looks odd to have more in front of the forks than behind.

I looked at a stock period photo of the bike and the fender is positioned just as mine is
