Best to stagger your splices if poss, otherwise you will have a loom that looks like a snake that swallowed a goat (big bulge)

Have not watched all videos but if the problem is that the plugs dont spark it can be a fault with the sidestand switch or the fuse for signals is blown.
That is a safety thing i think .Once my fj1200 cranked but no spark then it was a fault in the sidestand switch.Another time it canked with no spark it was a short in the rear brake light wiring shorting to frame so the signal fuse was blown.

Not exactly because if sidestand down the starter does not operate .But if sidestand switch is bad i can crank with no spark for some reason. and if a blown fuse to the signals on the fj it cranks but does not spark.
It may also be if your bike has a clutch switch that is bad it cranks with no spark.many strange safety things !
maybe try to jumwire the switches just disconnect one by one and put a little piece of wire in the connector
Wookie should maybe have better advice =)
