I was blown away at the sheer number of bikes there. From junk to jewels. Wish I'd been there the first 2 days; my friend bought a full dress Harley for $2000.
It was a treat to be able to compare the Z1R's to mine. The black Molly's seat fit perfect. The silver one was less so, like mine, so that made me feel better. Most of the KZ 1000's were very nice, I think most of us would be happy to own.
Pic 1: John Woo KZ900 Superbike engine.
2. A few bikes to choose from. There were 2 halls like this, and more!
3. You know.
4. Woo again.
5.Z1R TC on stage
6. Lake Mead, feeling kinda low.

It was my first auction and there were some deals for sure. Crazy how many bike were there.
Woo's Superbike was cool! but 1973 KZ900 sign title?
I did not see one 73 Z1 with a correct repaint, and a couple had the KZ tank NOS sets.

That does appear to be a glaring error. and it also seems like it would reduce the asking price. maybe they know something we don't. ???

I wouldn't worry about the sign affecting value. Maybe the bike started out as a 1973, certainly not much 73 stuff on it now.
The bike was impressive in person, really well built. The knock is, it's not streetable. Sold on Bill of Sale, no title. So basically a
track day bike for a well heeled gent. Bid up to $12,000, no sale.
