Stolen KZ650? Craigslist

This looks like a deal, or a steal, one way or another. Its not too far from me and Ive always wanted a KZ650 in my stable, so im thinking....should i?

Take a look at it, get the plate #, tell him you have to go to the bank. call it in, if not stolen or on file, GET IT.

Yeah I will ask for the VIN ahead of time. Its weird that it doesnt have a key. The title, I can understand....

What is the asking price?
Better yet, what is a KZ650 in that condition or like it worth?

at $1,000. No key no title. motor turns over

about 28,000 miles. no idea what kind of work was done. Owner rented a garage, didnt pay for it for years, garage owner got a lien, now owns the bike and is selling.

Assuming these are difficult to find in original and unmolested condition, though it may require a substantial investment of time and green...

Hard to say based on that tiny picture but the pipes look like they are not rusted though.
I always look at the engine screws to see if they are mushed from being removed with a standard American screwdriver.

If it is clean and you have the time, find a titled frame for $150.00 and swap everything over.
They are great bikes!
