I haven't been there in about ten years. But last time swap meet was definitely worth the trip. Wow.. All I saw was lots and lots of junk.. And while I know one man's junk is another treasure.. I mean most of the parts were either Ready for the recycle bin or were for enduros.

Wasn't able to go this year, but last year there were some pretty good finds for KZs. The year prior was even better. Both were better than Barber, but I'm going anyhow.

I was a little disappointed, too; there really was a lot of junk. Excuse me, high-priced junk.
There was a Hodaka something-or-other where the header was rusted away (gone!) from the cylinder and around the 180-degree bend back to where the pipe passes above the crankcase. There was probably a foot of header missing.
Price tag for the bike? $1000. Yes, one thousand dollars.

I guess it's obvious, but I've been surprised at how dynamic the prices are as the weekend progresses. What was offered for $1000 on Thursday might be $300 by Sunday afternoon (assuming it hasn't sold). I hemmed and hawed last year for a couple of days on a cheap fixer-upper, but was reminded that at Mid-Ohio I'm not the only buyer around who will take on a project bike.
