Anybody on here remember an old magazine article on a ELR project bike where they turned the engine into a 1400cc big bore with aftermarket cylinder block, put out about 200 hp if I remember correctly? I have a chance to buy a 1981 GPZ1100 with some cool parts on it, namely a nice ELR tank, seat, fairing. I can't seem to find that old magazine article, Cycle World, Motorcyclist? But, I have always wanted a bike just like that, and since the 1981 GPZ1100 offered to me is already modified beyond the point of no return, would be a cool project in my opinion. So, if anyone could point me in the right direction on finding that article, thanks much in advance, Joe
