Hi all,
Don't know if this is the right place to post an event or not.

The KY Kickdown show is this weekend . Social stuff Fri. PM, main event Sat., social stuff, coffee & donuts Sun. AM. All bikes 25 yrs. and older are welcome. There have been some very fine vintage bikes of all of all persuasions in years past, from bone stock restos, unrestored originals, and retro customs to Bonnieville Salt Flats vintage contenders. We close a city block for the show, and there are vendors, spirits and food available from local eateries and food trucks.

Retro clubs from Indy, Cincy and Nashville have been present each year, and attendance has increased every year. This year two blocks may be needed.

And there's cute chicks :woohoo: .

Things happen rain or shine, but keep an eye on the forecast if you're thinking about coming.

slmjim &The Lovely Z1BEBE will be there, with at least one bike in the show, and we will be helping out at the VJMC tent too.

Let us know if you can attend. Always happy commiserate with other individuals afflicted with the Z-bike bug.

Hi all,
A few pics from the show. The weather was threatening which held down attendance some, but overall it was a good show with about 100 bikes total.

A very nice KZ1000 Police bike at one of the shops that sponsors the show.

A nice KZ1000 at the VJMC tent.

Not Z-bikes, but worthy of note:
This guy cut the tank in half and hid the electrics inside. Very clean look when closed.

The most distinctive bike at the show. The guy rode it in. Chassis, handlebars, footpegs is all welded chain. Turning radius is almost unmanageable in city riding. He had to turn it around on the street that had been closed for the show in order to leave. It took nine moves. Watching from the front, the wiggling and flexing of the chassis in relation the the front forks was obvious. handling is not even in it's vocabulary. When seated the rider cannot see straight ahead 'cause the tank is blocking the view. He has to ride leaned over to see around the tank.
