OK, so it was 2007, I'm almost sure. I was hanging out at a newsstand thumbing through car and motorcycle magazines.

I believe it was Either Cycle, or Cycle World where I saw an article on a project where a guy bought a KZ1000P at an auction and stripped it down. All I can remember now was he put an Omar's Street Tracker seat/tail on it, and I'm pretty sure he painted it that Kawasaki lime green.

Does that ring a bell with anyone?

Thanks, Leon.

That's a cool-lookin bike, but I'm pretty sure it's not the one from the article.

The bike in the article was really basic; almost a rat bike. As I recall, the guy writing the article had paid a really low price for it at the auction, and the point was to finish it for very little dinero.

By the way, I looked at your entire blog the other night. Your work is amazing!

How about I buy at the Tastee Freeze and we talk about your making a FAT tire fit my KZ650?

That Z1R is so cool. It looks like the bike Goose would have ridden when he was off duty.

I ate at the Tastee Freeze yesterday. I would've stopped by your shop to say "hello", but I don't know where it's at.
