This is my friend Jack Hunter. He will be racing his Kawasaki 650 in the lightweight class at the TT this week. He has a 105+ mph lap last week in practice. The lightweight class is almost all 650 twins. They make over 100 hp.
My phone is not allowing me to uplod the photo so I will try to fix it from work.

Thanks for info and pics, keep them coming I love following the TT. So many fascinating stories. That's a pretty fast considering Dunlap ran a 16:58 at 133 mph average this weekend on a BMW 1000.
Motorcycle racers in general are, well how do you say, "Touched" individuals. The people who run in the TT are clinically insane.
Having said that, I would kill for the chance to drive that course. I would have to attempt it on a Honda Grom otherwise I would plaster my body parts all over a hedge row...

I've done a lap of the mountain course on both a VFR400 and a VFR800. There was too much traffic and way too many police to go fast. It's very cool to ride, especially because I've been looking at photos of the course for 50 years.
This is Jack coming down the mountain from Kate's Cottage to Creg-Ny-Baa.
The Cain part of my family is Manx. Cynthia and I atop the mountain at the TT in 2007.

Ivan Lintin won the lightweight race on his Kawasaki 650 with ano average speed of 118.454mph! That is flying on a 650cc twin.
My friend Jack Hunter had a 107.343.mph.lap. I'll be there for next year's TT.
