Good info guys . They make the rear . Its the 4.00 - 18 v . Figured I might try them just because they seem nice . As far as the v rating goes . I always buy her the best rated tires as she rides hard . She has no problems keeping up with the boys . She will be riding at cruising speeds around 80 or 90 on the highway with burst up to 110 or 120 in a safe area of course . She wanted the laser Techs again as that's what shes been running for years . Having a hard time getting her to switch . The metzlers have a 50 dollar rebate starting june 1 so really they end up about the same as cheep tires .
Will have a look at the sport demons though ..
Have the shinkos on my modded turbo they suck . I can break back loose at 40 no problem . Will never buy them again
Gpz 750 turbo The one I ride
Gpz 750 turbo Not finished
Gpz 750 turbo Not started

I put Shinkos on my 1300 and they are very nice for the money. Shinko has some relationship with Yokahama and are a good quality tire from Korea. Lots of good reviews online too.
If I knew what I was doing all the time life wouldn't be any fun.

Some very hard riding riders on the GS Resources swear by the Avons, and these guys have experience with the Sport Demons as well.
That hasn't been my experience, but I guess it depends on one's definition of expensive and one's expectation of the tire's life. My Sport Demons cost around $100 each (+ tax) locally, I'm fortunate that my local guy charges prices competitive with the best online prices. I always replace tires before they are worn down very much, and my first set of Sport Demons lasted me 8,000 miles. Ed
Well Ed, you are the first person I've ever heard about that got that kind of mileage out of a Sport Demon. You must ride quite gently and be lightweight yourself. Guys I know from GSR, that are closer to 300 lbs than 200 lbs, riding 600 lb motorcycles and riding hard, report getting significantly more mileage out of the Avons than the Pirelli's. And both are grippy tires. There have been some reports of Avon's cracking on the sidewall's as well but I think (hope) this is a thing of the past.

i typically lead the pack on either bike and will be replacing both sets this summer and going back to metzlers.
seem a lil greasy when cold but always consistent you can feel it and control it with the throttle.
they have been good for me.
nothing against a shinko i have bought em and would again if i was wanting a budget tire.
thing is tho if my wife rides it,it will have quality tires on it.
cause i don't have a budget wife ,
i'm willing to bet riturbo,that you don't either .

They've always been good for me too, until the sidewall cracking issue that Nessisim mentioned that happened to me with less than 3000 miles, i'd rather pay a few dollars x-tra & stay with the Pirelli's , just as good , if not better
