Thanks for the pics .Met Dave at the show last year . Couldn't make it this year . My stepson Jeremy went . Sent me a pic of that 650 turbo yesterday . Sweet bike . He left Houston sat morning rode around in the hill country then went to the show . Said the riding in the Austin area is just as good as Deals Gap . Said he put 700 miles on the 636 that day.

Hey guys.
Yup. That Wagner is gorgeous and would have been right at home along the back wall where all the really coolest of vintage bikes were on display. I probably shoulda' taken more pictures of all the bikes but my hands were occupied holding beer cans
Most definitely the Austin environs are beautiful for riding around. The [ Hill Country ] is what it is known as and definitely worth the trip. Especially if you're a fan of [ Waylon, Willie and the Boys ] . The first time you step into that old bar and see the dusty photographs with Willie and Chris Christopherson looking so young and old short neck, brown beer bottles lining the walls. You'll feel like you just rode to a cool place but also back to a cool time as well.
Hopefully we'll get a ride put together this year? I seem to recall another thread talking about. Probably later after the summer heat.

Pete the show as normal was off the hook if I posted my pic's they'd be copy's of what has been posted already.
Living here in Austin I get to see the Revivel stuff all the time their shop is just a short ride from my place.
Leon wish I had known you were in town I would have liked to have met you and had a beer.

zukdave,
we will be back for sure.
and,
my wife telling me the z1r needed the front end conversion done.
and,
setting down there representing kz"s was a bit of a motivator to get twistin some wrenches.
me and my wife just kind of needed some time to ourselves so i purposely didn't contact anyone.
not trying to be an ass just needed an escape and used it as a time to immerse ourselves in some culture we both enjoy.
i told my wife it was a scouting mission
we typically travel with a few folks and it can get to be a lil "work"sometimes .
so we just wanted to fly light and fast.
we had been wanting to catch one of our favorite Austin artist Ramsay Midwood in his own environment .
so we went to sams town point saturday night and had a couple beers and got in a two step.
then pealed out back home sunday morning.
we'll be back and bring some otherfolks and get in some riding and spend alil more time.
i'll hit you up before hand next time to see if your free and we'll have those beers and i'll get to check out your bike/s.
