Let's see if I've figured out how to do a poll here.

I usually think personalized plates are dorky but today with nothing better to do I looked at the MTO (DMV) site and found a couple that surprized me that they were available; RAWKZ and KZOOM. KAWKZ was also available but pretty sure when a human reviewed my order that one would get punted. So I put it to the KZR hive mind ...

EDIT Seems I don't in fact know how to insert a poll ;(
EDIT2 OK I see I inserted a poll, just not well

Honda 55 Trail don't ask me what year, 65? (sold)
79 Yamaha XS400 (sold)
76 KZ750B Twin (project)
72 Honda CT70 (project)

I hear that we can't get them in Illinois anymore but I have one for my company truck and I think it is pretty cool.
One thing to remember is that if you are doing anything like speeding or driving recklessly a vanity plate is easy to remember
For that reason I will never have one for my bike :woohoo:

My wife on the other hand rides like a fine upstanding citizen and can get away with it ;)

I can't really answer your question with the possible answers you have. Personally I'm not a fan of the options you have available/chosen, so my answer would be no, but I'm not totally against the idea of Personalized plates . If I could get KZ1000/Z1000 or KZ650/Z650 for my Kawasaki's that would be different in the same way MYCJ5 would be great on my Jeep or MY KZ even. Often times most of the personalized plates I see here are just too remotely connected or so abbreviated that you need several minutes to work out what they are saying and/or the actual point is. I think the golden rule has to be if you are going with a Personalized plate it has to be exactly what you want it to say, others may still not understand it's significance, but that's OK if it's clear to you, if you have to start fudging it from your original idea, then don't bother.

I used to have them on a few of my vintage rides but then GA decided they could raise some revenue by increasing the costs of vanity and vintage plates.
They were wrong...

Vanity plates are quite a bit extra here in Texas. I feel like I donate a sufficient amount to the government already, so I don't have one.

In this state they are doing so much damage, charging so much, only to do even more damage, then charge more to fix it, it doesn't happen, find something else to tax, it keeps going and going, etc, why would I want to give them even more money to continue their folly? If you non op the car/bike, you loose the plate unless you pay the extra fees anyway. The latest thing is paying $.10 a bag at any store in some cities. I avoid them if I can, if not I'll have my items in the cart and load them in my bike or truck if I forgot a bag. A snake eating it's tail. :pinch:
I'd rather a personalized frame. Pay once/ keep it forever.

Vanity plates? Na! To "Vain" for me. I have a buddy that has "BUZ MEG" here in New York. That means "FU-K OFF" in Hungarian.
New York lets you use old out dated plates for historical or classic vehicles 25 yrs. and older.
I had this old plate from my 1st motorcycle in 1976-1977 still have the stickers on it. I put the current one in the middle.
Fits right in with the 75 FLH. Never had hassles from the law. Cruise night people always ask about it.
NY regular MC plate is $17.50. I pay $25 a yr. for the old plate. And I pay only $72 for Historical insurance. Limit 2,500 miles a yr.

Livin in "CheektaVegas, NY
Went thru 25 of these in 40 yrs.
I SOLD OUT! THE KAW BARN IS EMPTY.
More room for The Old Girl, Harley 75 FLH Electra Glide,
Old faithful! Points ign. Bendix Orig. carb.
Starts everytime!

Lost mine after I let em lapse for a couple years ...... cost to much now and couldn't get just what I wanted so forgot it this time

Now the new money maker in Illinois is they are not sending out reminders for stickers (costs to much) ..... My truck and kids car was 6 weeks late and got charged 106 plus a 20 buck fine on both ..... car was due in just a couple weeks so we didn't have to on it.... bike is not due till April ....... we knew the lady but still there was nothing she could do as it was (the fine was automaticly figured in the computer)....... lotta angry people over this, she said to complain and maybe they will issue a refund if enough folks do ..... dought it though.
