Mecum Motorcycle auction in Las Vegas, Jan. 7-9 on one of the Cable / Satelite TV shows.
Here is the not so pretty 1980 Z1 Classic fuel injection model 2,100 mile. will be auctioned.
There is always some nice old vintage Kaws.
The website won't let me copy their picture of bike.
Real clean cycle. I don't know them that well, but is that big ugly seat stock???

I promised myself I'd go to this sale this year, but unfortunately other events have once again prevented me going, however when I reviewed the catalog, I was a little disappointed with what was on offer this time around, less Japanese classics that I've seen previously. A lot of nice older British bikes, but they are not really my scene, in terms of what I'd consider buying. There seem a lot less KZ's for sale too, unless that's my imagination, but in the past there's always been a couple I've really liked, this time I saw nothing special unless there's been some late entries.

Any ideas why the 73 Z only brought$13K????
Seems kinda crazy to me! Is the resale/Market going "Soft" on Older Kaws?? Supply and Demand?? What Happened?

Thanks, flovanus,ok,I guess that makes sense. But,aren't the bikes actually selling for a Lot on ebay?? Or are you saying the "Asking Price" is inflated?? Just trying to wrap my old Brain around all this. Thanks!! Ed
