mag chloride is nasty after a rain, all dirt roads need maintenance they use that stuff like gravy here. class 6 road base is still needed the rock is a binder that locks together to build a pad hense 3''with 1 1/2 over that to make a pad then 3/4 road base for finish. positive drainage and maintenance is the key. I used to drive 777 cat wagons the ground rolls.and leaves Big washboards
