I found an outlet for them on ebay and can get any size 630 rear for my Morris mags for around 60(ish). That's where I ordered my 34T. It was goldish in color and really lightweight and supposedly aircraft grade aluminum. So far so good. We'll see how long it lasts. I'm checking through past emails so I can remember who it was so I can see if they can get them in 530 versions also. I'll give you an update when I find out who it was if U wish. $$.

Rockranch wrote: Just a note to add to the '76 Morris mags...the rear brake rotor had a 6 bolt mounting pattern, and the Enkei were mounted with 4 bolts. Well the Morris rotors were designed with more than 6 holes and can thus be bolted to Enkei wheels 4 bolt design. But not vice-versa lol. Figure that one out. I will post some pics comparing the 2 when available if anyone cares to see the differences.
I had a hard time finding a 530 sprocket for my 76 LTD Morris mag a couple of yrs. ago I got the chain & front sprocket from Z1E. Z1E. ended up giving me a couple of phone #s to call & the only place that had one was Sprocket Specialists & It cost me 109.00 with tax & shipping,...OUCH, that hurt
Pete
That was a 530 I got from Sprocket Specialists

So all in I'm delighted with my 530 chain and sprockets and love my switch to the 18" rear it would have been built with. I also like my Shinko 230 Tourmaster tires, even not broken in they have a lot of grip and now with by dual discs up front I have something approaching reasonably modern braking standards - it was great to ride it and feel really impressed with how every thing was working together. I'll try a longer run a little later, can't wait for next summer that thing is FUN, to ride
I didn't realize that about Morris wheels, I take it they don't use the Kawasaki sprocket carrier like the Lester wheels? If I had to have wheels I wanted to change, I'm glad mine had Lester not Morris mags or it sounds like I'd have been looking for even more parts. It makes me feel good that my rear sprocket only cost $31.20 with free shipping

redhawk4 wrote: Got to give my bike a run today, my fears about the gearing being too high turned out to be unfounded, it runs great. I could feel it get pretty light on the front when I got to about 4000 rpm, in 1st and second even though I was trying to ride gently, because I was conscious that with all the work I'd recently done on the bike, that it needed a test ride to bed things in and make sure there there were no errors or problems that could cause a mishap. It felt a little high on take off in first initially, but then around where I live, almost every time you come to a stop sign it seems you are pulling away on a particularly steep hill, which exaggerates the issue. I'd been working on lubing my clutch cable, since that seemed to have not been lubricated since it left the factory, as the lube worked in further, it made pulling away much better, it was the none progressive release of the clutch making it judder slightly, rahter than a power or gearing issue.

As it came with the Lesters, 16" rear, LTD headlight bracket, Abe Bread box filter etc. I wanted the A model, bought the A model, so by golly it's going to look like an A model

My second ride was great, but my speedo cable broke after a few minutes However I was able to get on some more open road and had her up to 4k in 5th which should be about 68 mph from my calculations. I certainly wouldn't want my gearing to be lower, it seems what I was aiming for, it still has reasonable pull and now cruises without feeling so frantic.

The 630 rear sprocket I just took off mine turned out to be aluminum. There are companies with every color you can imagine in Aluminum 530 sprockets on eBay.
Feel free to PM me about your parts, now I've seen some pics, so we don't takeover and misdirect the thread.

nads.com wrote: I used z1 530 chain for 76 kz and by George u flip a Zuki rim over, use the brake side to mount the sprocket, no spacer up front either, and can u tell the difference from a 530? without a shred of doubt, or a cushion drive, it's much faster. And now the r6 cbr6, zx636, fact know it. It's time to believe.
