I have a 1980 Kawasaki KZ750 Ltd. I bought new. I recently managed to get it out of my garage after 28 years and put it on the road again (2010). I feel like a kid all over again. Since I have acquired 3 78 KZ1000 Ltd, 1 1981 KZ1000 Ltd, and another 1980 KZ750 Ltd. Love the LTD's.

I always was a Drag Racer! Street and Track. I butchered stuff just to look cool! I hung with the greatest Top Fuel Nitro Guys.
Been to many Dragstrips, Knew all the Top Fuel Legends! Watched "Puppet" the master, build frames 5 minutes from my house!
But never got into the Super Bike thing. I always knew of the Daytona race during the end ofHarley Bike week.
But Congrats. to you! I have been following your stuff all along!
And I am glad to say, I turned you on to that painter in Cali.

Yea, many thanks for posting about the painter, Blake Conway. I know I never would have found him without your posting. I grew up around road race cars, so road racing was in my blood from a very young age. I never could or would ever afford to race cars, so motorcycles were my choice. It was a bunch of fun unless you hit the ground!!!
Talk about drag racers. One of my friend's best friends was the late Dave Schultz. At the dealer show, we would always get together for lunch or dinner a few times each year. I have never met a nicer person than Dave Schultz in my life. What a human being.
