I think the porting helped too. B) The new head had been decked so that may have changed things. :unsure:

That little-voice has been whispering since I set the head on my new set of pistons and bores.

Cuda shuda checked the valves and seals, but I reasoned not to listen.

Had plenty time and was able to do it.

Hope it won't matter, but I'll go back in post-riding season if it is needed.

Best to do it before all that black carbon builds up. That's what screwed up both of my bores. I'll be going back in to replace the guide seals AGAIN. :angry: I'll have the plug hole repaired at the same time.
