It was a nasty noise. Sounded like the bottom end was about to grenade at low idle. Got lucky,,,,,,,this time. :unsure:

I'm curious if you've replaced the front wheel bearings in a while and is the pseudo axle shaft you are using for this jig, the exact same diameter as a real axle shaft?

Bearings are recent. The shaft isn't the same size as the axle. The bearings spin freely.

Ok. I would think that if the shaft is a bit too much smaller, the geometry would be that the mass would be slightly below the center of rotation and make it a bit harder to balance using gravity.

As long as the bearing spins freely I doubt that would be an issue. When I change the tire I'll try it with the axle first to check my work. So far no hop.
