$27,500 is Canadian retail.
I might just pull the trigger on one.
Another local buddy of mine is thinking the same thing!

As I said in another thread, it seems like a low production competition beater primarily to keep the kawasaki brand at the forefront of the insanely fast 'specialist' headbanger's bikes.
Sometimes one sees a new bike and just know it will be a future classic, last time I thought that was an RG500 Gamma - and also my z1000R lawson rep which I bought over 10 years ago when they were not quite as 'collectable'.
That H2 could be the ultimate kawasaki, although modern sport bike power/weight ratios only goes in one direction, future environmental and safety legislation could be the limiting factor. Maybe that is what makes the RG500 so valuable: the ultimate, low production numbers and something that could never be built again.

Twenty years from now I'll be dead. So, now we get a peek at the reason why Kawasaki dropped support for older models...only one person (in this thread) expressed an interest in purchasing the new H2 . On another note, the last time Kawasaki released a limited edition track-special was the 1982 KZ1000-S1...thirty bikes produced...one sold last year for US$107,000...the H2R is probably a safe investment.
