I wear prescription glasses and am looking to get more airflow than my full face helmet provides. I am looking at either a 3/4 or half helmet and then use goggles to keep the wind out of my eyes. I really do not like wind in my eyes.

I have seen the type of goggle or more like glasses that go over glasses. The ones without a band. I do not picture them being too good at high speed, I would think they would get ripped off if you looked sideways at speed.

For goggles with the wide band to hold them in place I have some questions?
Do you wear the goggle band on the outside or inside the helmet?
I have seen how the band goes on the outside of a 3/4 helmet. How would they work on a half helmet?
Can you recommend some goggles that you have tried and liked.

Thanks,
HH

Go to a ski shop.

Take it from me cuz I found
If you leave it then somebody else is bound,
To find that treasure, that moment of pleasure,
When yours, it could have been.

I always ride with the visor open on my full face, my glasses stop any wind from bothering my eyes.

A word of caution though, if a bee makes its way in there, it sucks.

Mine:
04 Honda rebel 250(wifes)
04 GSXR 750(bolt on galore)
98 CBR 600F3(filter, pipe, adjustable cam sprokets, dyno tune)
76 KZ900A (LTD gauge pods, crash bars, LTD(style)pipes, dyna coils and ignition, headwork and mild port cleanup by cavanaugh racing, K&N filter pods, heck I dunno.

I have Goggles and a half helmet for around town and a Full Face that flips up and has the neat lil hidden sunshield that flips down as well or you can just open the clear face shield. Has a vent on the top of the helmet as well as just below the clear shield works well for the high speed interstate riding. The other guys all laughed at my goggles but I could see and it was cooler with the half helmet. My advice is find a buddy and wear there's (helmet) if they fit and try a few different ones. Its like finding a good pair of riding gloves takes some trying out. Good luck.
