Is she lying about her age? was created by TheForumTroll
I just opened her up a tiny bit to see what shape she's in. I'm starting to wonder if she lied about being 30 years old

Maybe not lying
When I saw the first picture my first thought was "thats the strangest looing ignition system" but if you check kawasaki.com parts diagrams etc it looks like this system was only used on three 700 models
The alternator side looks normal - I think - but then I have never needed to open mine. It all looks to be very clean and in great shape. How does it run ? How many km on it when you got it ? If the ignition side has never been opened and the screws dont show any wear then the previous owners may never have checked valve clearances.
Just a thought
Edit - disregard. I had not noticed the T 1-4 mark earlier. Looks great for 30 year old innards !
