My rich uncle just sold me his 1956 Jaguar XK140MC Roadster for $500. He was the original owner. I can't decide whether to cut it and make a dune buggy or add hydraulics and flames and make a lowrider. Or maybe I should tub it out and drop a 350 smallblock in it. Please advise. Thanks. :P

Welcome to KZRider! By now you have noticed that the members here are very passionate about old Kawasakis. That bike is indeed rear and it would be an absolute shame to see someone cut it up or part it out.
I can promise you that if you decide to chop it up after the pleads have went out, you will not get much more help from this site. Like everyone has said, there are plenty of other bikes out there that you can make a bobber out of. They made a ton of police bikes that are in motorcycle salvage yards all over the country, hack up one of those or take a member up on a trade. We for the most part are all honest hard working guys with a great deal of appreciation for these bikes.

Example of a euphemistic response: It would be ill-advised to build a bobber out of this bike.

Example of a less euphemistic response  :

I got the bike from a good friend that was just going to scrap it. He knew I wanted to build a bobber so he helped me out... I have respect for old bikes cars that need the respect. Witch is why I'm asking before I do anything to it. Anything can be a bobber agreed. I'm more then happy to sell the bike to someone that for lack of better words "cares" about and has the true respect for z1r. Like I said I know nothing about the rareness of this bike. Know that I hear it, it's for sale

For exposure to more prospective buyers, would consider starting a new topic in KZr's Classifieds For Sale forum.

With only 22,000 miles and mostly in good shape, would expect significant interest.

Somebody please buy this bike off him, help him out in his current predicament, thank him profusely for he just saved this bike from the scrap heap (his friend WAS going to send it to the dump) and let's all help him out again when he is back on his feet..........I wish I could do that but there is no way I could come across country to pick it up.
