next year I plan to ride the events and get some better pictures....getting over bronchitis and when the bike took a dump the wind kind of went out of my sail on this one..Eddie and an S1 plus the very first ninja 900 to ever come off the assembly line And I did not get very good pictures...just give you an idea how out of it I was...walking around sweating bullets from 4-5 days of bronchitis...anyways...I wanted to post some good pics and share with folks...

Did you get a look at the serial number on the frame?? All the KZ1000S1's serial numbers ranged from JKAKZCR13CA000052 to ~00084. Now if the motor number was KZT00JE30316. That motor went into frame number ~000066.
My S1 was frame number 000062 with motor number 30312. There was 32 S1 made, but Kawasaki only sold like 29. I was told the other other ones were the bikes that Team Kawasaki raced in 1982.

he showed me a blurry printout of vin and owner names...yours was sure to be on it...you should contact the kawasaki museum...he said this was #16
