gOOD..iF THAT WAS THE CASE I WAS GONNA BRING IT BACK TO STOCK...But now i feel better about doing the suspension upgrades...wouldn't want to kill a Z1..

There are plenty of folks out there that prefer the KZ900 to the Z1...better running, better designed, etc. If a KZ900 fell into my lap...I'd be inclined to restore it...but that is just me.

here she is..it's been professionally bored to 1000cc specs with weisco pistons..lots and lots of parts included...it has a lot of potential...I'm still on the fence about doing he suspension upgrade, unsure if i can actually do it..
I think i like the idea of owning an nice upgraded stree fighter vs. actuallly building it..lol

Kz900 still has the lighter Z1 crank, thicker gauge frame tubing beefier swing-arm etc. your only differences really are the gauges sidecover and airbox, some racetech fork upgrades, and a new set of shocks and it will be 10x better than stock IMHO

my bikes; 80kz1000(project), 77 gl1000, 74 h2 (project)
Past; 78 kz1000, 83 kz550
