friggen thing gets expensive when you buy mounts and additional mem and items.
I checked it out and was disappointed with the one shot total record time for 1080 HD, If I rem right.......it was under 20 mins, could be wrong?
Would rather put the 3 to 4 hundred dollars into my toys!

I've got the Hero2 auto set and found I had to get 2 extra batteries to get it right.
What I like is recording a ride, what I don't is watching it is just not the same. If I had 4 cameras to pull video from it would be cool but that is too much work and money.
I enjoy going back to watch the twisty portions of the road, but can't say that overall it is that great. I prefer to ride and forget about it. But there are times I'm glad to have it. Dirtbiking with it is also fun.
It will not be like motorcycle vs car drift battle 2. It will be like a home video shot from your motorcycle.

Not sure. They should have it online.
720 is fine for most things but isn't as clear. The other thing to do right is the mount.

16gb card should be fine. Get two and get the fastest ones possible.

I have one and I can have it mounted to a helmet or on the headlight ear,
or under the headlight.
Unlike the gopro it doesn't stick out. I have a cigarette lighter mounted under
the seat so I don't have to worry about battery life. 32g card would last all day.

1 X HD 1 X Hero 2 and 1 x hero 3 black edition.
The hero 3 black takes fantastic clear videos in 1080 x 60 fps.
However what they don't tell you is your computer needs to have enough balls for playback.
If you put it straight onto your TV the quality is amazing.
A 16gb micro sd will be big enough for your requirements.
Gopro recommend the "Lexar 16 or 32G 600x Micro SDHC"
Filming in "720 x 60 fps wide" works ok for me.
If you want to put your vids on youtube...the quality suffers due to compression.
Have a look at some of my vids...best watched in 720P hd full screen.
