Nabbed this off CL $3K. Couldn't pass it up. 13K miles two owners 1971-80, 1980 till yesterday.
Took it for a nice little ride today. It's slow, vibrates can't stop with drum brakes handles like load of bricks falling off a truck but it's nothing but class. It's a keeper

More room for The Old Girl, Harley 75 FLH Electra Glide,
Old faithful! Points ign. Bendix Orig. carb.

Nice score Greg! I would have took that also. I had my 75' since 1981.
I'd love those 2 back mufflers with the ribs! I have been looking for those for awhile.
Don't do anything quick with that cycle. If your gonna unload it for a profit, I'll trade ya those mufflers for my 1980 set that are perfect. Same shape, size and style. But don't have the ribs at the back side. And if the tires are Goodyear? speedgrips, they are worth a bundle! They were 1/2 nylon and 1/2 rubber, they never wore out. Carlisle and Croker bought the rights to them after the 1980's AMF era. Real goodyears are hard to come by!
Been awhile, I sold off 1/2 my shims on ebay in Feb and March. Kept enough for my Hot Rod!
Got my new house in the Burbs, only have a 1 1/2 car garage now. Workin is tuff in the garage.

Me personally, don't give a crap if it's a HD, Indian, BSA, Triumph, Honda, Suzuuki whatever, old 50-70 & some 80's air cooled bikes are cool!
Kinda like my Battle-Star-Galactica :pinch: KZ voyager Xii... Fruggin Big @ 8' long, somewhat ugly, slow compared to the KZ build but she rides real nice and comfty for two up crusing. Wifey poo can sit back relax and enjoy her view w/out bashing her face shield into the back of my helmet ( :pinch: ), Kinda like an old Cadillac
