1968 Triumph 650 trophy worth? was created by apbling
My buddy has a 1968 Triumph trophy 650. Says it runs. I've never seen it, but it has a high, upswept pipe on the left side. He told me that it was a special model. When I asked him what he wants for it he said a couple grand... Anyone here familiar with these?

If it runs and is in decent condition, I'd jump on it.

Steve McQueen rode one when he jumped the fence in "The Great Escape".

TR6 Trophy at Wikipedia

Not real good as a daily rider.

If you rode that B44 that you have listed as sold, you'd think you're in heaven on a 650 Triumph :laugh:

I've had several B44's in the past, and I swear the piston stays still while the bike goes up and down. :woohoo:

nope, never got the B44 running. Got a darn good price for it though. Some guy drove 3 hrs sight-unseen to buy it.
