Ok so i picked up this super nice one owner 76 kz900. Been sitting 10 years tank not to bad but carbs are a mess. My plan clean everything get it running smooth. With the filth carbs and tank (after cleaning)I'd like to put some miles on it before I re-insatll stock airbox(pain in ass) just to make sure everything running good and fuel system cleaned out
117 120 good I'm not messing with needle or pilot just just want to get it down the road a few times
After satified no dirty carbs i will stock jet ,aibox and original pipes
heres my new score
cheers

You can get a set of pods from Z1Enterprises and a set of 20 pilot jets cheap. Under 40 bucks I would imagine. That bike will stumble at 3500 rpm with 17 pilots. That is where it is going to the big jets. It probably will pull good wide open.

It will drive you nuts with those 17 jets.

Pods kerker no baffle 76 kz900, I run stock 17.5 idle. And 125 mains, rides like a dream and really pulls hard when I need it. they tell me the 125's are too big but I like it a little rich to be safe. By the way, no stumble.
