agreed on part availability.Hell, I can't even find a name/make on it! I will check into that motor and see what my financial adviser (wife) says. Has anyone messed around with one of these?

Throw it out now and save your sanity.
Even brake pads/chains/etc are impossible to find. Everything is Chinese special. We had guys bring tires off them looking for tubes and the numbers weren't even close to the actual size (11-inch markings on 6-inch wheel). They are horrible.

There's a place here in Austin that sell's the china junk
and they have parts for them.

haha, yeah, I've never even stood next to one til now. You can definitely tell it's not very high quality. I do need a front innertube too! hahaha

Just to tie the ends up on this.... You guys will get a kick outta this. But, I joined a pocket bike forum...Seem like helpful nice guys. But alot of these chinese bikes are generic, no actual name brand...and trying to figure out if the part you're looking at is the one that will fit yours is next to impossible! The PO did buy a new recoil and coil, but they are the wrong ones....me thinks this little nightmare is gonna end up on the bulletin board at work under the free section...
