Fuel pump and dyna coils was created by NZGlenn
Just purchased a new walpro fuel pump from Fuel-pumps.net,
and a set of Dyna Coils off Z1.
Really fast service from both companies, 5 days delivery to New Zealand door to door.
With the way the US dollar is going it makes it less expensive to buy and ship from the states.

I will fit these on the weekend if I've got time.

There has been a few members looking for a replacement pump. So if it works out for you, can you post up the details of the replacement pump and maybe some pictures?
Pictures of the bike will always be appreciated around here also.

It is a Walbro GLs393 $126 including fitting kit.

I have just pulled the old pump out.
It was fairly easy, remove the
seat, tank, and side covers
Remove the battery and put on the charger.
Disconnect the wiring around the battery holder
unbolt the inner mudguard.
Unbolt the battery holder. This allows the battery holder to be angled, to get to the pump clamp.
Remove the pump clamp,
remove the hoses.
pull the pump out.

I put the new pump in position and confirmed one of my potential issues. the straight hose outlet is too long. it needs one like the factory one which has a 90' bend on it.

Hopefully I'll be able to source an adapter locally, as I can't find anything on google. I might get one manufactured if all else fails.

Hi, how did you do the right angle bend on the outlet of the fuel pump?

IIRC...Just got one from my local auto parts shop.
A lot of carb fittings are similar. ;)

I refuse to go into the chain auto parts shops here.
We have Repco, which typically staffed by people who know how to read a parts manual only. If you're looking for a part to fit something non-standard they look at you like you're stupid.
The other one is Super Cheap Auto, which is slightly better at customer service but they seem to cater for people who want cheap oil and wiper blades.

SoI went to a car performance shop. told the guy what i had and what I needed it to do. Halfway through my explaination, he grabs the exact parts out of the display case.
This is a thumbs up for local shops instead of chain stores. The price was probably a lot more than Repco, but I had expert, quick help.
