I think I have been getting electrified through my clutch cable, but common sense tells me it is the muscles in my arm are frictioning.

On a car, riding the clutch wears out the throwout bearing and pressure plate fingers.

On the KZ, when you hold the clutch in, at a stop, the part that gets pressed out (the pressure plate) is at a stop, so there is no wear like in a car. It doesn't hurt hte trans at all. The springs may get softer sooner, or maybe the disks might wear a tiny bit, but that means they will only last 40 years instead of 50. :)

That will eventually get you hurt, ask Mark Wing. Never assume that cars are going to stop just because their light just turned red and yours just turned green.
