Daytona Beach?

We are working up plans for Daytona this year, only a couple months away. Would like to hook up with any one doing it this year provided we make it. It's a 1000 mile drive for us, looks like 80% a go for us right now. We are planning for a ride to the Keys if we do go, family in Okeechobee which is about half way from Daytona to the keys. If your in that stretch, buzz me! I'll make an honest attempt to make a hookup!

I'm planning on the June rendezvous , Hopefully work won't allow me to be as much of a bum as I was last year.

What are the dates?

March 8th thru the 17th. We havn't decided on which end of the time table were going for but we intend to do it, even if we don't have the bike done.

Will probably make it one of the days, Les. Have to see what my riding club has planned and may have a neighbor or two that may be interested. The biggest issue for me is that my wife works Friday through Sunday. Hopefully, she can schedule a vacation day because one of us has to watch the kids. Weather will be another factor. I wouldn't mind an overnighter there, but hotel rooms would be next to impossible unless reservations are made far in advance. Camping may be an option though. Parking a car can even be a challenge at night, But motorcycles have priority. I remember having to take a water taxi across in order to leave the car parked on the other side of the intercoastal. Maybe some us members can meet at Booth Hill Saloon across from the cemetery, LOL. Or maybe at the Bank & Blues Club No matter, still a couple of months away.

Had it been a week later I could have done it. Being a teacher I'm fairly locked in to certain dates unless of course you wanna trailer a bike for me down and I fly in Friday and come back Sunday? Would give me a reason to get my bike done sooner.

Well, have you guys gone yet? Wish I could be there but I think it safe to say we'd all like to see pics.

I'd trailer you bike in a heartbeat but we're only taking 2 bikes so only taking truck, no trailer and pulling out tomorrow around 6.

Aww Les, thanks for the thought. I appreciate it but for one my bike isn't finished yet and I am not able to swing it for such a short time. But pics are enough for me to feel as if I'm hanging with you guys.
Do you know some really great painters? I am not sure the guy that I was thinking of will have the look I have in mind.

Well, wasn't able to make Daytona this time around with the riding club last Saturday. Asked if they can post a couple of pictures of biker babes. They haven't posted everything yet but these shots pretty much meet expectations, LOL. Love the dudes stove pipe hat, :laugh: .
