This guy's in for a rude awakening if he really invested $700 in chain and tires and $4000 on an engine rebuild?? Better than new though :laugh: What about that seat, Beauty.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

What a shmuck,judging from those head pipes on that brand new header he needs to do a little tuning on those freshly rebuilt carbs. :laugh:
I didn't spent $4000 building my last 1327 motor,Im going to start rebuilding 650 motors if theyre bringing that kind of money! :woohoo:

I feel a bit sorry for the guy (but not enough to bid!). If the shop that "fixed" his electrical short and mounted the front tire did the engine work, who knows what they may have done in there. The front wheel axle clamps show a gap at the front which tells me the person working on the bike is not familiar with KZ650's and didn't bother looking at (if he has one) the manual. Also, that red wire attached under the seat on the rear frame cross member shouldn't be there - is that part of the "fix" they did to the electrical system? These 2 mistakes are easy enough to spot and fix, but what evil lurks hidden inside that engine is anyone's guess. His statement "The engine was not repainted when the engine was rebuilt" also makes me wonder about his understanding of these bikes; the KZ650-C engines were not painted to start with. I think it's interesting that the license plate is from Alaska but the bike is in PA. Ed
