And yes I agree, they all are, my 06 Vulcan is 10% over on the money.
I think the only way they are accurate is if they are BROKE! :laugh: :laugh:

I took the cover off removed the needle and relocated the needle to the correct position and presto. 1 accurate speedo.
I used my gps and did a couple of calibration runs until I got it exact.
Very simple realy.
76 KZ, frame gusset work,1200CC.Ported by Larry Cavanaugh, 1.5mm.over intakes, Carron Pipe, ZRX12 rear end, and seat,96zx9 front end.

That's why I check mine with GPS, so I'll know more accurately what speed I "think" I'm going :silly:
and what speed Johnny law should see on his radar.. about 10% less than what my Kawi speedo indicates
On a different note. There are some guys that swear by the bicycle speedos, like the ones at Wally Whirld. I bought a Schwinn speedo for my mountain bike.

I put a cateye bicycle speedo on one of my Z1s. It worked okay but topped out at 123km/h and then just read gibberishBlackZ1R wrote:
