While cleaning up around my battery box area I noticed a metal badge on the side of the box, it looks as to be put there by Kawasaki back in 1977 when the bike was made. It says 1977 Kawasaki KZ1000 LTD was made especially for
Alex Wisniewski, does this name or plate mean anything to anyone? I have pictures on my I phone if I can fiqure out how to get them on the site I will.

These personalized stick-on metal plaques were furnished to each purchaser of a brand new KZ900-B1, along with an official signed letter of documentation addressed to the proud new owner.
I don't know of anyone who stuck it on the fuel tank, and there's not much of anywhere else to put it.
Mine's on the battery tray (right side).

Wiseco 810cc kit.
Zukiworks racing ported head.
VM 29 smooth bore's.
Dyna 2000 Ign. w/Dyna mini coil's
APE cylinder stud's and nut's.
APE valve spring's.
APE Track King clutch.
V/H KZ1000 sidewinder.
3.5x18 laced to a KZ1000 disk hub.
150/60/18 Shinko 006 Podium.
63" wheel base.

The plate's cool but your chain need's some goober lube.
