they may be bugs

but they ARE green bugs.....

I am no fan of the modern look either ,but i prefer the modern specs...on modern bikes.....i think half the stuff in this site sucks so bad it aint funny....

i would take a Z800 over 80% of the bikes here...nothing a header and some correct styling work could'nt do to make those bikes nicer....

at least they dont have sidewinders and red frames with suki parts splashed on in a good drunk

I believe time will not be kind to most of the new bikes. In a few years the insect bikes will look as dated as the bike in the pic below, but the classic design of original KZ bikes will still be viewed as stylish and desirable. Ed

I like the exhaust ok, it's just that seat that I don't like. Can you imagine your wife riding back there? Then there is the rear fender which is really kind of spindly looking but who cares, as when is the last time you seen a new bike without the rear fender removed and the plate either 2ft up under the seat or mounted horizontal on the side of the bike? I wish I was a cop some days and like the quote from smokey and the bandit movie back in 77 when Jackie Gleason got pulled over by the cops and they said "you can't drive a piece of shit like this on my highway". I like the bike OK, but the mods guys do nowadays are just so repulsive. Starts with aftermarket exhaust, and progresses to the windshield, removal of fenders and turn signals. Possibly mounting like 1" diameter LED signals, of course removing the mirrors. The bikes are turned from questionable before to downright disgusting after. Look at guys riding new bikes and see any that still have a rear fender. Good luck.

321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.

Kinda agree with you tri. Ive been looking at the new z1000 myself.not 100% with all the plastics over the front end but with a tail clean up and nice pipe.can be a pretty sweet bad as bike.
