I heard of that movie a few times but have never seen it. Guess I have some watching to do. :)
When I was about 17-18 I had a 81 1000 ltd and after I saw MadMax I instantly went to some abandoned neighborhood streets and learned the front brake do-nut. Thats was back before no feet donuts and tiny wheelbases.
I'll prob pull my video link in a few days. No sense advertizing

best wheelie bike I ever owned / road was a zuki GSXR 750. I once road a 1 mile wheelie at speeds over 100mph.....god how stupid was I ???? Im glad its out of my system now...dont have any need for that shit anymore.

I think some engine damage was done also due to lack of oil....angle and all...but cant prove it....engine blewup a week later.

Not long after I bought my then new KL250, some kid dared me to wheelie it. I was all of 17 or so, so walking away from a dare wasn't possible. I got it up, all right, straight up in front of me with me hanging on the bars and wondering, "WTH do I do now?" I got it down--not easily--and bent the license plate and its holder. Next time some yutz offers a dare, I'll tell him to get his own bike and do it! :woohoo:

Never tried a stand up wheelie but I used to do big wheelies on my 650 till I put the longer swing arm on it. I got a ticket for a 100 yard wheelie once when I was younger.

just read in the manual that 30º maximum incline level, thats only about 10 o-clock on the video it looks more like 45 to 50º incline!!! shoot my driveways 30º, however I don't lose my oil, like driving for a mile a 100+MPH  :woohoo:

Ran across this from another forum. No standup, but still fun to watch. I really just like the music.
