Relay article finally out! was created by motociclista
I know some of you were probably beginning to wonder, but I can finally report that my article on the relay ride is now published. It's even the top story of this issue of Accelerate ( see index of full issue ).

Thanks to Trey Mitchell, who spent a lot of time helping me sort out what was going on with Leg #1, and 650ed, Boostable, KZJoe900, Kawickrice, Flyndrive, ramtough_63, rainman, riturbo and anyone else who helped or contributed photos that I forgot. Also, Les Holt served as T-shirt model. Watch for more about him in a future issue of Accelerate.

Just one promotional item, I hope you all take a look at Accelerate and maybe sign up for the e-mail alerts so you know when a new issue comes out. They do NOT spam you with a bunch of e-mails. Just a notice every couple of months when new stories are posted, and although I'm biased, I think it has some good articles (some of which aren't even mine! ). I would just like to see it supported so Kawasaki continues it.

Best of luck with the ride!

That's great! It's this kind of stuff that makes me actually hang around this forum. And thanks for getting the world out in the article, I can only hope it gets more enthusiasts out there and enjoying their rides, and I'm sure it will.

Good work, Lance.

I note that at least one new member is here as of last night due to your article. Welcome to all new members here as a result of Lance's fine work.

It was a pleasure to be part of this, and as Jeff mentioned in another thread, would do it again in a heartbeat. Great article BTW. B)

Everyone I mentioned this to thought this relay was very cool. A friend asked me "What happens to the flag when the relay is complete"? I didn't know what to tell her, but that day is a long way off yet, and I assume someone will come up with a suitable option. Possibly on display somewhere. Nonetheless, it is great to sit back and watch the progress and feel honoured that I was able to participate. Safe riding all. B)
