Got my new sig!!!! (why I like windshields)

Ran from Medina, to bass-pro Sunday, hot, but tolerable. About 210 miles.
Saw nothing but harleys...wth? Harley after Harley after Harley......how original..and unique..and stuff....
I did see half a dozen ODJB's out there, one SWEET Yamaha, what were they, Venturas? Gorgeous What I thought was a bobbed twin, maybe another yammarhaw, or an older KZsomething. Otherwise, a sea of totally indistinguishable New Harleys.

Anyhow around 1PM out route 18 somewhere the front shields took a hit, scrambled the crew for inspection and I think it was a) a bird b)some insect extra from Jurassic Park.
I'm going with A..or B
The goo slid up, and around, hung on the edge of the windshield, then spooged off and hit me on my neck, the ONLY 2" strip of flesh exposed! Holy crap I'm itching thinking about it.. Top photo you can see the final glob of flesh that didn't fly off onto me and dried in the heat...what, you think I didn't stare at that a dozen times before the day was over, LOL

And before the Gods of Copyright reign down hell on me, That logo I printed off on photo quality paper with my forum nic. Thought it would be neat if someone when I'm out recognized it.
By the way, IF you sold those, say 3" across I'd BUY one. (and if I missed it, link me up, thought I checked pretty good)

O.K. I vote no on the bird. No residue feathers. No on the insect as well. Maybe a bat? Yuk!!!

We've got some big bugs out here around the corn and bean fields too.
I ride with the face shield down most the time.
Those Japaneses beetle are hard like a rock, they don't splatter but they sound like a pebble bouncing off the helmet.

The June bugs are probably the worst, you have to pull over and wipe off the custard :sick:

Had a wasp fly into my helmet already this year, that sucked :pinch:

Some day I want to get a nice medium size wind shield but for now I'm OK with the wind.

I can go a couple hundred miles and don't feel beat up from it like I use to.

My ass is a different story. :S

I was coin about 70 once got wacked in the collar bone where the T-shirt blows back, butt first by a wasp! it started hurting like crazy I got home an the stinger was throbin away on my neck with a 3 inch welt

Amazing, works like a charm- sat behind a couple of "newer" fairings...I think those look fancy, but they don't spoil air around me from 20-80 like this does.
