82 KZ750-N1 Spectre -- Gone....

I didn't get to ride the garage-find Spectre. Got it all fixed up except for syncing the carbs, and then traded it this morning for a cherry-condition '93 RM-125 dirt bike for my 14 year old boy.

My boy's in heaven -- kept riding the RM today even though he's too small (normally rides a TTR-125) and he has to use the bike holder's center stand as a stepstool just to be able to climb up on the RM to get on it (don't tell him, but he looks kind of funny riding that big bike when he's small).

Oh well, easy come easy go. I'd buy my kids the world if I could -- so I let go of my Spectre but got a nice bike for my son in an even-swap deal. I'm happy with that.

I have an 88 Kawasaki EN450 bike in the garage to start restoring now. The Spectre 750 was a nice project but it was sort of too big for me anyway. The 454 suits me better.
