Bought this KH400 today

Bought this KH400 today was created by Kapahulu
I live in Honolulu and am going to Anchorage, Alaska to visit my dad in a week. Last night I saw this KH400 on the Anchorage craigslist. It was too late to call the guy and I called him first thing this morning.

My dad went out and picked it up and paid the $1,350 asking price. The bike had been in a minor crash when it was new and then put in a warehouse until January 2012 and sold. The owner decided it wasn't for him and then I was lucky to get it today. It has 149 miles on it with a few dents and scrapes.

The bike is in my dad's garage now and I'll be riding it in a week.

Now I have to decide if I'm going to ship it back to Honolulu - may cost another $1,000.

Even 2350 for that bike is still a steal! Bring it back and enjoy the hell out of it :)

I guess getting old has its benefits. Back when these bikes were new I couldn't afford one. Now I own two KZ900's, a KZ1000, an RZ350 and a KH400. Yeah that's a little much but I can't help it when I see a deal!

Looks great. I almost bought one new back in 77 or 78 they were sold on closeout for $1000 or so.
321,000 miles on KZ's that I can remember. Not going to see any more.
