There were a lot of open spaces this year. The attendance was down. There was also a lack of premo bikes for sale. I quess all the overseas buyers are finally getting all of the cream of the crop.
My friend,Allen that rented one of my spaces had a buyer chasing his friends truck down in the swapmeet area wanting to buy a Z1R. He got it for $5000.00 and then let it sit out all night in the rain.
I made as much on commision as I did selling parts. I sold a set of NOS 1015cc jugs for $700.00 for a friend. I made 10%. Shane gave me and I mean gave me $75.00 when he sold his bike. It was a very nice bike. Thanks again Shane. I did not sell the sissy bar.
Jeff and I were talking about 8 spaces next year so we can rent across and have access to two roads. We'll see.
I had a flat 10 miles from the meet and had to buy a tire for the trailer but was happy I could find one.
I had saved $1000.00 to make the meet and it did cost me that much to go but I got home with money in my pocket from the sales I made.
I sold the K360 cams to a rider from Frankfurt,Germany. We talked about the region as I was stationed there while in the Army.
We missed a lot of members this year that didn't make it. Roy

Well I wouldn't have sold the bike if I didn't have a place to park it so thanks. I told Jeff that I will take a spot next year. My buddy and I plan on buying some primo NY bikes to flip. I have been having great luck in the last few weeks finding nice bike. Yesterday I picked up a 64 Honda Benly 150. Tomorrow I am checking out a 74 CB750.
