The wording is vague....does my '77 need turn signals in NYS or not. I'd prefer to hear it from someone who does them. The beauty is, I just found out the dude who is doing my inspection next week is the PO-POS of my basket case. It's shocking someone employs him as a bike mechanic!

If the bike came equiped with them from the factory, they are supposed to be on the bike and working. Having said that, I've never had an inspection station mention my turbo'd Z1 doesn't have them.

I called an inspection place and the kid who answered said "Bikes that old didn't have turn signals"

I think I'll be OK!
