Vintage Racing this weekend

Racing at Road America this weekend. Vintage bikes tearing it up Fri., Sat, Sun in beautiful eastern Wisconsin. It's going to be HOT, dress accordingly.

Road America and the Kettle moraine are great places, spent a lot of time up there back in the day.
This looks like an event I would enjoy, a blast from the past.

It's cool to see that they have camping in the park now.
And the cover prices for this event are closer to vintage than a lot of the races I've seen there. :whistle:

What ever happened to Plymouth rock camp grounds ?
They use to have a mud pit that you could run your trucks though until a tragic accident at the CanAms one year when a girl was ran over and killed , they filled it in after that.

Unfortunately this year it falls on the same weekend as the Chicago Blues fest which we will be attending.

Maybe next year.

Road America 1982

Tom, I'll be there again this year. Both Saturday and Sunday. Hoping to have my bike ready to race for next year.

Miss watching the vintage bikes race at Sears Point.
