GPX550 followed me home today! was created by AJSparko
This was by complete LUCK I came into this bike. Had something up for sale on Craigslist and the guy offered me this. I love the GPZ bikes so even without seeing it I agreed and ran down there today. It ran, it drove, it's titled and tagged, needs a little carb work but it only has 6300 on the ticker. Gotta clean it up but here's some pics!
He said the carbs were cleaned by someone last year, but they didn't know what they were doing. Whatever chemical they used stripped most of the black off the carbs, still some remains in the corners so at least I know they're original. But the drain valves were loose, sounded like the pilot on one was plugged a bit...I haven't decided if I'm going to keep it or sell it but I do know for a fact I'm gonna ride it first!

Needs some float bowl gaskets and float needle valves, should be good to go!
