Isle of Man TT Races Pics & Blog

Some of you may not know of the Isle of Man (IOM) TT races but they're about to start........on a 37.73 mile circuit through villages & over mountains, here are some great pics of the island itself.

my pal went to watch it last year. he's over there again, right now, but will be catching a dif race this week.

Wish I was there. Thats on my Bucket List along with Lemans, and Goodwins speed week

HD Theater covered it well last year. Now it is Velocity TV. I hope they do extensive coverage as well, I Tvo the race and watch it later

Its a great place & there's nowhere like it in the world on TT fortnight. Practice week begins tomorrow & the 1st race next Saturday. The TT can be cruel though, unfortunately nearly every year some boxes come home. I knew a young lad that happened to last year, he was 22. A very good friend of mine who i help out on the Irish Road racinc scene competes in it every year, in fact he's pretty much a favourite in a few races this year. Watch out for him lads, he's on Kawasaki's & they're orangey red in colour, Ryan Farquhar, KMR Kawasaki (his own team). I wish i was over there for race week!!




For those who don't know what its all about! Onboards are all real time & the crashes look bad but everyone survived, this is worth a look

Open stretch of country side is one thing but these guys are just mind blowing fast in these tight in town twisties... Balls of Steel....

Certainly have OMR, 160mph through some of the villages with kerbs & stone walls 20ft either side

Forget steel. These dudes have balls of uranium!

unreal dvd...this clip above shows a snippet... plus the dvd and book cover the 80's with some great races and footage...write ups...Eddie Lawson racing Freddie plus much more...well worth 45 bucks.......the book is unreal ..his contribution to filming eras that mioght have been lost...great guy too....very nice..signed the book and chatted with Amy...
