My MCs are in storage in Alaska right now, and it is taking forever to save up enough to ship there here to Hawaii. I need a commuter bike- and prices here in Hawaii are usually ridiculous. Problem is- shipping costs from the "mainland" as well. I sure loved my 75 Z1, but it is going to cost me a couple thou once it gets here to put it together they way I want anyway.

I am seriously considering looking for a good running Z1/KZ and just having it shipped here, if I can find one decent on the west-ish coast. I can do simple mods I like later.

I don't know, just nostalgia for my old bike I guess- had it since 1982! :blush:

It seems the bikes in California bring a premium price.
