It runs good with new points.....

So I got the 650 out a few days ago and it did really well for about 20 miles. After that I dropped #2 and #3. I got to checking and realized that the plastic part of the points that rides on the points cam had worn down really far. Since I can't throw any parts away, I had a set laying around and all is well. I sold the 29 smooth bores and put on some 26's. It runs better than it did with the 29's and doesn't seem over-carbed now. Life is good.

Spare parts are always good to have.
