April Ride for the Vets was created by The_New_Kid
As my senior project requires, I have to do a service learning project in association with my product (bike), so here's what I'm doing.

This is a charity poker run that will be benefiting the ABCCM vets quarters, Information is on the flyer and I would be happy to answer any questions!

Lifes journey is not to arrive at the grave safely and in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, shouting ''Holy sh*t, what a ride!''

WoW! Good for you young man! All my respects to you!
What a noble, American thing to do. And at such a young age.
To quote Sean Hannity "your a great american".
You must be from a Military family or friends of them.

There is a small documentary film out called, I beleive
"The Patriot Riders". They ride all over America with different chapters.
Sorry, I don't have the link available here.
They escort funeral percessions of fallen heroes. Blocking wacko protestors
and anti-goverment low life.

Good luck and be proud of your project. I give you an A+

Thank you Z1, The run went well, we didn't raise enough to get all of our insurance deposit back, but we did get enough to give some money to the ABCCM. Although we only sold about 15 hands, we had some great food provided by Celebrity Hot Dogs (Brevard Rd, Asheville, NC) and a live band, Unit 50 from Asheville, and all in all we had a great time.

Make it a regular event. Pass it down to a younger student. Word will get around that it is for a good cause. Get more prizes.

The trouble around here is that there is so many poker runs that there are several on the same day.

I went to a poker run one time and only the people that I ride with showed up. We took all the prizes home !!! I got a all weather motorcycle cover that I still have.

Kudos to you and your project. Roy
