Still quite a bit of room on the front still, nothing on the back yet. I assume the other flag/banner is for overflow. By all means, if you don't already have a patch, grab one.

Not sure where the stickers came from, but Jeff took one and I grabbed two, so I think there are three or four left.

Will post up a report when I get back. Heading out early for a 1:00 PM meet, then likely head south a ways with Rob and friends, then head east/north back home. Might take an extra day and explore some areas I haven't been through yet. B)

Getting ready to head out to meet Dave.
Will have a Police escort, KZ1000C Police bike, and another buddy on his Vulcan as his kz1000 is not ready for a long ride.

I'll have patches for sale when I get back. ;)

Please take some nice pictures of the bikes and with that beautiful area as a backdrop. Its been cool seeing pictures of the bikes and the members on this relay. But looking at parking lots or a highway sholder as backdrops is not that interesting. Just look at 650ed's photos or riturbo or even the Florida ones kinda capture the surroundings and are some great photos B). Have fun and ride safe either way.

I'm really looking forward to meeting up with rstnick (Rob) and the Flag! I have to try to find some time to get the KZ back in street trim. I had a "track day" yesterday and we're crazy busy these days! If necessary I'll use the h2 as a back up plan! ;)

I've been contacted by kawboy74 (David) and we'll keep her moving as best we can! B)

Just got back from meeting Dave/dkmk in Parry Sound.
380 kms round trip for me, so about half of that for the flag.
Great ride, perfect weather.
Lakes all around, and some twisty roads through them.

A couple of buddies went with me on the ride to Parry Sound.
John came on his KZ1000C3, and Richard on his Kawasaki Vulcan 900.
Richard also has atwo KZ1000s, and some other bikes, but his KZ was not ready for the ride.

John's Police bike and my kz650 at the start of our day:

Richard's Vulcan and his KZ1000 a few days earlier:

Here's a stop on the way in Gravenhurst, on Lake Muskoka.
Some steam ships docked, getting ready to take out revellers:

Another stop further along Hwy 169, at Ava Lake:

Found this KZ650C2 owned by fellow KZR member dkmk, aka Dave.

Chatted about the relay, and Dave's meeting with Jeff.
Dave also met with Colin/reborn650 in Sudbury earlier, and Colin signed the flag.

Speaking of flags, the official flag relay pix:

Nice work, guys!

Good to see the '650s getting a workout in the relay.

Lake Rosseau on the way back:

Pit stop on Hwy #4:

A bridge in Washago.
I can remember coming to this bridge over 20 years ago, and people would jump off into the water below.
Some people were getting hurt, so they added the bars to prevent jumping.

More pictures when I take the flag further...

Great to finally meet Rob and "The Accessories" (as John and Richard called themselves) :woohoo: .
Rob, seems your trip was uneventful and glad to see you all made it back safe. Just got back around 11:00 AM, left Sundridge @ 6:30 AM to beat a line of severe thunderstorms moving into the area. Would have liked to spend another night, but I too was called to go to work (retired, but contract work on the side). Also found out last night that a friend who had been battling cancer passed away yesterday morning. RIP Terry (I had bought my KX250 off him back in the early 80's).

Here are few of the pics I had taken along the way.

Awesome pictures guys!!! Beautiful landscape, nice bikes and looked like a terrific day of riding. Got a bit of the feeling for the place from your photos. I would suggest reposting all these photos on the photo essay thread under the Ride Reports section. This thread was created solely as a photo thread for the relay. This way members and guests don't have to read through a lot of posts and simply have a pictorial view of the event. Here's the link: NORTH AMERICAN RELAY RIDE PHOTO ALBUM

The Google relay map also has some photo related postings from each location. You will see green motorcycle icons at each location that a hand off took place. If you left click on the icon you will see the photos with along with some information of the hand off.

(Not sure how Rob did it, but how do you get more than 8 pictures per post, rather than starting another reply to continue?)

Just guessing, but may be due to pics being associated with photobucket.

ramtough_63 is the guy that had the Relay stickers made up, he says he has more on hand and needs to know who to send the next batch to.

If you guys know where the flag will be in a week please PM him and give him an address ASAP so he can ship them off.

Thanks, JD
